Gus is a mental performance consultant and counselor who helps individuals better understand the underlying patterns shaping their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. He holds a master’s degree in counseling from Boston University, where he specialized in sport and performance psychology.
While his background is rooted in performance, Gus’s approach has evolved to focus on deeper, insight-oriented work. Drawing from psychodynamic, relational, and contemplative perspectives, he supports clients in exploring identity, emotional patterns, and how they relate to themselves and others.
Gus has worked with athletes and individuals across a range of settings, supporting clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, shame, and questions of identity. He believes that meaningful, lasting change comes not from fixing oneself, but from developing a deeper understanding of oneself.
